Session 12 – One Year Later: Look What Became Possible
This session was unlike any other Beauty Career Lab we've hosted.
As we celebrated the one-year anniversary of BCL, we didn't spend our time focused on what still needs fixing, improving, or figuring out.
Instead, we did something many ambitious women rarely allow themselves to do:
We stopped.
We reflected.
And we celebrated.
Together, we looked back on a year of growth, courage, connection, resilience, and possibility.
We explored questions like:
⚡️ What are your top 3 wins from the past year?
⚡️ What are 5 reasons you're proud of yourself right now?
⚡️ What do you want your life to look and feel like one year from today?
⚡️ What will block you from making this life your reality?
⚡️ What is the #1 decision future you wants you to make for her right now?
These questions sparked powerful conversations around courage, confidence, possibility, and personal responsibility.
Because the truth is...
Most women don't have a clarity problem.
They have a reflection problem.
They're moving so fast toward the next goal that they never stop long enough to acknowledge how much they've already accomplished.
And confidence isn't built by focusing on what's missing.
Confidence is built by recognizing the evidence of who you've become.
One of the biggest takeaways from our session was this:
Your future isn't created by the goals you set.
It's created by the decisions you make.
Especially the ones that feel uncomfortable.
The conversation reminded us that one year from now will arrive whether we make the bold decision or not.
The question is:
When future you looks back, what decision will she be grateful you made today?
